The Holy Quran

Quran is the eternal and literal word of God revealed to Prophet Muhammad over the period of 23 years. Unlike other books, Quran make a great proclamation in the beginning of the book.

“This is the Book about which there is no doubt ..….”

After this proclamation, Quran presents thousands of ayahs (verses) as a proof.

So what is the meaning of this very unusual and bold statement. let’s examine what this claim amplifies.

  1. There is no error or falsehood in this book whatsoever and it will remain like that for ever.

  2. All the statements in the book about nature and science are true.

  3. All  the historical events described are correct.

  4. All the prophecies revealed in it are accurate.

  5. All the ethical, social, political, economical laws stated in this book are valid, up to date and practical.

In the history of mankind, no one has made such a claim. even the divine books like Torah and Bible did not make a claim similar to this.     Want to read Quran?  Click here

A Tribute from a non-Muslim

The personality of Mohammad! It is most difficult to get into the truth of it. Only a glimpse of it I can catch. What a dramatic succession of picturesque scenes. There is Mohammad the Prophet, there is Mohammad the General; Mohammad the King; Mohammad the Warrior; Mohammad the Businessman; Mohammad the Preacher; Mohammad the Philosopher; Mohammad the Statesman; Mohammad the Orator; Mohammad the reformer; Mohammad the Refuge of orphans; Mohammad the Protector of slaves; Mohammad the Emancipator of women; Mohammad the Law-giver; Mohammad the Judge; Mohammad the Saint.

And in all these magnificent roles, in all these departments of human activities, he is like, a hero..

Orphanhood is extreme of helplessness and his life upon this earth began with it; Kingship is the height of the material power and it ended with it. From an orphan boy to a persecuted refugee and then to an overlord, spiritual as well as temporal, of a whole nation and Arbiter of its destinies, with all its trials and temptations, with all its vicissitudes and changes, its lights and shades, its up and downs, its terror and splendor, he has stood the fire of the ……. Islam in Australia

The first of the Afghan cameleers arrived in South Australia in the 1830s and they were the founders of Islam in Australia. The rail links across the Australian outback and Australia’s overland telegraph lines were all built with the assistance of these Afghan cameleers, thus opening up Australia’s vast interior. It was their descendants who built Australia’s first mosque in 1861 in South Australia at Marree, then known as Hergott Springs. Australia’s first large mosque was also built in Adelaide in 1890.

The 2011 Census puts the figure at 476,300 of people who stated Islam as their religious affiliation. According to the Census, the Buddhism (2.5% of the population), Islam (2.2%, up from 1.7% in 2006) and …….Read More

How to become a Muslim

The word “Muslim” means one who submits to the will of God, regardless of their race, nationality or ethnic background. If anyone has a real desire to be a Muslim and has full conviction and strong belief that Islam is the true religion of God, then, all one needs to do is pronounce the “Shahada”, the testimony of faith, without further delay.

To convert to Islam and become a Muslim, a person needs to pronounce the below testimony with conviction and understanding its meaning:

I testify “La ilah illa Allah, Muhammad rasoolu Allah.”

Translation: “I testify that there is no true god (deity) but God (Allah), and that Muhammad is a Messenger (Prophet) of God.” …..Read More

About Muhammad (PBUH)

Nepolean Bonaparte

“I hope the time is not far off when I shall be able to unite all the wise and educated men of all the countries and establish a uniform regime based on the principles of Qur'an which alone are true and which alone can lead men to happiness.”

Quoted in Christian Cherfils BONAPARTE ET ISLAM (PARIS  1914)

M.K.Gandhi, YOUNG INDIA, 1924

"...I became more than ever convinced that it was not the sword that won a place for Islam in those days in the scheme of life. It was the rigid simplicity, the utter self-effacement of the prophet, the scrupulous regard for his pledges, his intense devotion to his friends and followers, his intrepidity, his fearlessness, his absolute trust in God and his own mission. These, and not the sword carried everything before them and surmounted every trouble." YOUNG INDIA, 1924

Thomas Carlyle – Heros and Heros Worship

“how one man single-handedly, could weld warring tribes and Bedouins into a most powerful and civilized nation in less than two decades?”

“…The lies (Western slander) which well-meaning zeal has heaped round this man (Muhammed) are disgraceful to ourselves only…How one man single-handedly,
could weld warring tribes and wandering Bedouins into a most powerful and civilized nation in less than two decades….A silent great soul, one of that who
cannot but be earnest. He was to kindle the world; the world’s Maker had ordered so."

George Bernard Shaw - The Genuine Islam Vol.No.8, 1936.

"...“I believe if a man like him were to assume the dictatorship of the modern world he would succeed in solving its problems in a way that would bring much needed peace and happiness.
I have studied him - the man and in my opinion is far from being an anti–Christ. He must be called the Savior of Humanity.
I have prophesied about the faith of Mohammad that it would be acceptable the Europe of tomorrow as it is beginning to be acceptable to the Europe of today.”

Sayings of the Prophet (PBUH)

• “When two persons are together, two of them must not whisper to each other, without letting the third hear; because it would hurt him.”

• “Verily, it is one of the respects to Allah to honor an old man.”

• “I command you to treat women kindly…”

• “You will not enter paradise until you have faith; and you will not complete your faith till you love one another.”

• “He, who wishes to enter paradise at the best gate, must please his father and mother.”

• “Allah is One and likes Unity.”

• “The strong person is not the one who can wrestle someone else down. The strong person is the one who can control himself when he is angry.”

• “The proof of a Muslim’s sincerity is, that he pays no heed to that, which is not his business.”

• “No man is a true believer unless he desires for his brother that, what he desires for himself.”

The Final Sermon

Excerpts from the final sermon of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)

“O People, lend me an attentive ear, for I know not whether after this year, I shall ever be amongst you again. Therefore, listen to what I am saying to you very carefully and take these words to those who could not be present here today.
O People, just as you regard this month, this day, this city as Sacred, so regard the life and property of every Muslim as a sacred trust. Return the goods entrusted to you to their rightful owners. Hurt no one so that no one may hurt you. Remember that you will indeed meet your Lord, and that He will indeed reckon your deeds. God has forbidden you to take usury (interest), therefore all interest obligation shall henceforth be waived. Your capital, however, is yours to keep. You will neither inflict nor suffer any inequity. God has Judged that there shall be no interest...…...

O People, it is true that you have certain rights with regard to your women, but they also have rights over you. Remember that you have taken them as your wives only under a trust from God and with His permission. If they abide by your right then to them belongs the right to be fed and clothed in kindness. Do treat your women well and be kind to them for they are your partners and committed helpers………….

All mankind is from Adam and Eve. An Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab, nor does a non-Arab have any superiority over an Arab; white has no superiority over black, nor does a black have any superiority over white; [none have superiority over another] except by piety and good action……………

Remember, one day you will appear before God and answer for your deeds. So beware, do not stray from the path of righteousness after I am gone.
O People, no prophet or apostle will come after me, and no new faith will be born. Reason well, therefore, O people, and understand words which I convey to you. I leave behind me two things, the Quran and my example, the Sunnah, and if you follow these you will never go astray…………

Thus the beloved Prophet completed his Final Sermon, and upon it, near the summit of Arafat, the revelation came down:
“…This day have I perfected your religion for you, completed My Grace upon you, and have chosen Islam for you as your religion…” (Quran 5:3)
